Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is a singer/actress from the USA. Parents were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Her family was born in Huntington Woods Michigan. She is of Polish origin (mother) as well as German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered her talents within the industry of entertainment at a young age. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after going to the first audition. Bell was signed by her mother to become an agent when she was just 13 years old. Bell was later cast for newspaper ads and commercials for TV. Along with taking private lessons and acting lessons, she started her career around that time. Bell played a small part, uncredited for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was a member of the music club and the drama club. Bell was cast as Dorothy in the school production that was The Wizard of Oz. Bell went on to study music theatre in the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell was a graduate in 2001, left her studies at the university to play her role as Becky on Tom Sawyer. She made her first film credits in Pootie Tang at the beginning of 2001. Her scene, however cut, and her only appearance is in the final credits. Bell was on Broadway for the first time in The Crucible, a revival which featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
